I felt the tears rise and I looked down for a minute, gathering all of my resolve. I looked up again and stared him right in the eye. "You know what? I trusted you!" I jabbed my finger in his chest and he recoiled. "I trusted you and you broke my trust. I trusted you to keep the secret. I trusted you enough to tell you everything. I trusted you to keep my trust. I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. Eighteen-year old, young and beautiful girl Hayley was having an ordinary hagh school life, until aliens come to the Earth. After that day, although humans and aliens start living together in peace, Hayley hates aliens because she lost the man she loves in the war. Therefore, Hayley cannot trust anyone anymore. By the way, she meets Ezra, the new student in school. After this meeting, Hayley starts seeing the truths about aliens; why they are really here.
