At 17 years old, Cara has no idea what her future will turn out like. What college she wants to go to. If she even wants to go to college. Maybe she will settle for community college. She had no idea. With her mom pushing her to make a decision and step dad showing an obvious un-interest in anything she does or says Cara turns to her English Teacher Mr. Mason. Mr. Mason is all but kind at first and when bad boy Luke confronts her about their English Teacher's keene affection for her is a bit creepy. Luke takes it into his own hands to protect her from Mr. Mason. Meanwhile Cara spends more time with Mr. Mason but when he slips up she is beginning to be afraid. Cara asks herself one question. Is Mr. Mason trustworthy?
