16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks. We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family.
