Delilah is the most interesting person in the room. She tells the best stories and yells at the television. She also has an obsession with 80's movies. There was one person who understood all of Delilah weird and enjoyable quirks. Ben. He had been her best friend and the love of her life since grade school. He was all she ever wanted. But sometimes life sucks and your best friend ends up falling in love with some girl in your math class. Delilah tries to keep it together like a good friend but can't help wanting to strangle her best friend's girlfriend. On top of that, every time she looks in the mirror, she can't help but think about why Ben didn't choose her. She picks herself apart in front of the mirror- every freckle, every embarrassing moment, every imperfection, every quirk. She starts to think that the person in the mirror might be her biggest enemy. While tagging along with Ben and his girlfriend, Delilah meets Ben's estranged cousin, Chris, whom he hasn't seen since he was in preschool. Chris immediately sees through Delilah's facade and calls her out on it. Chris ends up staying for the summer in Ben's house. Chris seems to be on a mission to discover and embrace every single quirk of Delilah's.
