I used to stare into the falling snow for hours, all it ever did here in Trithades was snow and I longed for something more interesting than the endless white flakes that fell aimlessly onto the ground and then blended away, and so I would search through blizzards and storms from my seat at the old frosty window with my eyes just wandering through the endless abyss of white and grey. Then, one day as my eyes squinted through the foggy glass, eyes stared back. My parents didn't believe me, they never did, not about the goblins that hid my socks or the pixies that pinched the bread from our pantry. But I knew that I had seen them, you wouldn't forget eyes like that, an indescribable dark yellow-y colour that compared to that of a snakes but as bright as a million stars, you couldn't forget them. And so the next day I refused to budge from the hard wooden bench that was beneath the window. but there was no sight of what I had seen yesterday, I refused to give up searching though and didn't stop, not even to eat, continuing on till nightfall when with a crushed hope and splinters embedded into the soft flesh that were my hands I went to bed. That night I dreamt about those eyes and the body behind it. ........................... nowadays though I know better than to wait by the window hoping for the chance of something interesting to occur because nowadays I know that those eyes are there watching me, waiting for me to finally escape out into the falling snow. they have always returned since back then, each year in the coldest month of winter staring back at me, visiting in a storm and then vanishing, never to be seen again till the cold comes back around and they have the blanket of snow to shield them from unwanted eyes that peered of into the snow, unwanted eyes like mine, that spotted them despite the odds. .............................. So this is my story how I was brought into the world that was hidden by snow.

I'm sick of these lies. And if you're so sure that you didn't cheat on me, then fine, let's move on to the next step, prove me you didn't cheated on me" he said, and she frowned in confusion. He realized she didn't understand his intention. "Get intimate with me, tell me that you love me, and I'll believe you. I'll believe that you're telling the truth," he said, or more precisely, made an offer. She couldn't process his words. Her heart broke as she listened to him. β€’β€’β€’β€’ His expression darkened, pain flickering in his eyes. "Kya kami reh gayi thi, Amisha? Sab kuch diya tha tumhe... apna dil tumharee kadmon mein rakha tha. Fir bhi tumne yeh kiya?" His words came out in a choked whisper, his composure slipping. (Was there anything I didn't give you, Amisha? I gave you everything... I placed my heart at your feet. And still, you did this) Tears gathered in his eyes, though he struggled to maintain his demeanor, reminding himself he couldn't afford to be soft. "You're hurting me," she whispered, her voice cracking slightly. His eyes flickered with guilt, but he didn't let go. "And what about the hurt you caused me?I loved you, Amisha. I gave you everything. My heart, my soul... everything. And still, you didn't choose me." Tears welled up in her eyes. "You should have looked into my eyes once, it was always you Vivaan. But your jealousy... your obsession... it's destroying us."
