Verbroken gaat over Lauren een vrouw van tweeëntwintig jaar en heeft net haar laatste studiejaar detailhandel afgerond. In een opwelling hebben zij en haar vrienden twee huisjes op een camping in de Ardèche, in Frankrijk geboekt en daar verblijven ze drie weken.
