"Get the hell off me!" she screamed, kicking out and somehow managing to escape him for a moment. But another one appeared, with the worst haircut she had ever seen. She grabbed onto the remaining hair which had clearly been creeping or running rather, away from his forehead and pulled as hard as she could. He cursed and slapped her hard and briefly touched his hair, assessing what remained of it. A huge chunk of it remained inside her hand.
She threw it into his face.
But then something hit her head hard and she blacked out.
When Kaelyn wakes to find herself captured in an unfamiliar place, she has no idea why. Her captives wont speak to her or barely even acknowledge her. All she knows is that she must get out soon, but when she does, she realises that things are not quite..normal.
Strange things are rising and gaining in power. And she finds that she must rise against them or fall before them.

But he did want to burrow into her body and command her soul. She was the sole reason for his jealousy, the only person who held the switch to all of his desires. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing.
