Rose was so excited to finally go to Hogwarts, after hearing about it as long as she can remember. Her parents, actually almost her entire family to be honest, met their loved ones their, Uncle Harry became even more of a legend in his years there, and some of her family and family friends were lost there....

All is well when Rose becomes friends with none other than Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Until old feuds break them apart.

6 years later, Rose and Scorpius have never talked. Will old arguments come up again? Or will hormones rage and clash throughout their 7th year, not just in them?

I'm trying to make this story good without too much excess drama, but it won't be all sunshine, daisies, and buttermallow (turn this stupid fat rat yellow!) because you can't have a story without conflict!

I do not own any of the Harry Potter characters or locations. And I do not own the phrase, Fraternizing with the Enemy, it is from Ron at the Yule ball in 4th year. I just thought it would work out quite nice as a title.

"Oh my love," Voldemort sighed. "Aren't you tired of this endless running? You don't look well. All this writhing in the dust like a hunted animal doesn't suit you." Harry struggled against the binds keeping him in place, his breaths coming out in sharps pants as he twisted away from his touch. He's a monster, he reminded himself, forcing himself not to think about how gentle he could be with him. How much he missed his touch. You need to run from him, run far, far away. You are in the middle of a war! "I'm tired of chasing," Voldemort continued, stepping closer to Harry's struggling form. "Of indulging this little game of yours. Let's stop pretending there's anywhere you could run where I would not find you." He paused in front of Harry and knelt down, a hand reaching out to caress his cheek possessively. "Let's stop pretending you want to be anywhere but my arms, hmm?" "Go to hell!" Harry spits, jerking away from his touch. "I'm not yours!" "And that, my love, is where you're wrong," Voldemort said with a crazed smirk. "Nothing, not even death, could keep me from you. You always have and always will belong to me!" |.-.-.-.-.-.-.-| Voldemort had finally won. He defeated the light and gained control over Magical Britain, and in the process, he had lost everything. As he remembers how he met, fell in love with, and ultimately lost Harry Potter, he realizes that in his greed, Voldemort had ruined everything that ever mattered to him. But when new information comes to light, it's a race against time to bring Harry Potter back from the dead and reconcile their relationship or risk losing the love of his life forever... ...Even if it means getting help from what's left of the Golden Trio.

Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out. Thanks for reading!***
