Hermione Granger is a hall monitor. It is a privilege really, one that is bestowed on only the most worthy of students. Keeping the hallways free from trouble and truants is no walk in the park, but Hermione loves it anyway. She enjoys basking in the trust and respect she gets from being the most responsible student in school.

Not everyone sees her position that way though. And by everyone, she of course means Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy is as different from Hermione as night and day. While Hermione values school, Draco constantly skips, and while Hermione prides herself in her dependable reputation, Draco seems intent on being the resident trouble maker.

For years, neither of their paths cross, until one fateful day when Draco's excessive truancy lands him in the position of co-hall monitor. And with him he brings adventure, possibility, fun and maybe even a little love -- or in Hermione's words "trouble".

One thing is for sure. They're both going to need a lot more than a hall pass to get through this ride.
