Unknown, indifferent, omnipotent, in other words my living hell. Is this not my prison? Banished, feared by the Goddess herself, until a puny mortal soul lends their life essence, disgraceful. I am a God. This imprisonment is far from belittling, for thousands of years I was forced to be dormant until seven years ago precisely I was unleashed by a child. I was only locked up again... to guard this evil. I can't take this anymore. I need to be released, I need a breathe of freedom, I need... I need her.

"Where did you come from?" Ilia asked and that's when everything stopped. Where did I come from? I tried to remember, I thought really hard but all I could say was, "I came from a place where no mortal should ever come from if they dare keep their head." The words tumbled from my mouth before I could stop them. I slapped a hand over my mouth, scared I would say more I didn't understand. Why would I say that? (Y/n) had awoke inside of a strange house, surrounded by strange kids. The only issue with that logic, she has no memory. Nothing to trigger why the young man Link and the group of children would be so kind to a stranger. It dawns on her that she needs to find out who she is again. However a darkness is brewing, and Link has a destiny to follow. The strings of fate tangle between the young duo, and (Y/n) makes a decision to help save Hyrule from the darkness. With nothing more than a brave face and an emerald pendant tying her back home, she sets out with Link. They also fall under the service of an imp itching for revenge. However, there is one person standing in the way of (Y/n) getting home. Her best friend, the Usurper King, Zant. He has made it his life goal to protect (Y/n) from himself and place a veil over her eyes to keep her from seeing his wrongs. Her wrath would for sure be the end of his evil plans. This is, the Twilight Veil. A reader insert. COMPLETED- 2018 (Y/n)- Your name (L/n)- Last name (S/c) -Skin color (E/c)- Eye color (H/c)- Hair color The plot for this story is made by me. Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < . DISCLAIMER . While this story is a war story, so it features violence, some gore, and death, it has many lighthearted moments and tons of (attempted) comedy. So enjoy and read at your own risk.
