Amaris Copper's life is difficult, to say the least. Her brother and sister turn the whole pack against her, saying that she drove her parents to run away and have someone else raise their children. They say that she was such a terrible daughter and a disgrace that they left to get away from her. She's lived 19 years with the hatred of her pack mates; with her only safe haven being the bakery the works at in the afternoons. Her boss, Marsha, is her angel sent from heaven (figuratively speaking of course).
On the day of her 19th birthday, she meets her mate: the soon-to-be Alpha, Caden Genkins. The only problem is that he rejects her. With her heart broken, she leaves the pack and runs into another alpha's territory.
