It is the end of 8th grade year for Alec and he has decided to leave all his friends to go to a totally different High School. The High School has this program that is supposed to be college level classes junior and senior year. The program allows the student to come shadow a person that is doing the program for a day. While Alec was in Choir he met this boy named Eli that he was head-over-heels for the moment they met. The rest of the story follows Alec starting High School without his friends and meeting new people while being a gay male in a school of cute straight guys.
