Everyday Scarlett's dad abuses her because he thought that Scarlett was the cause of her mother's death. At school, it's no better. She gets bullied physically and verbally by the students at her school. One day, Scarlett was pushed over the edge. She could no longer deal with all of this pain, so she decided to end it all. Chris Cerulli's best female friend has been Melanie Dawson since they were in childhood. They never ever saw themselves as anything more than that.
