"I have been ordained by the Lord Most High to smite evil across His land." The sword is lifted and points to me, defenseless, bruised, and bloodied, in the middle of a crop circle.

Elissa was raised not knowing who she was or who she was meant to be. Found on the steps of a cathedral and abandoned to the whims of the foster care system, she is placed to uncaring parents Caroline and Robert Frank for the sole purpose of her attached paycheck. Soon, a stranger arrives at her doorstep with the divine intention of killing her with a flaming sword, only for her to be rescued by a group of misfits and propelled into an adventure unlike any other, but one she did not ask for.
Can Elissa find a family she so desperately needs and a love she so craves?
Can she survive the evergrowing amount of threats to her life and discover who she is?
