Running From My Alpha Mate

"Let me go!" I shout my throat horse and dry. I yearned for water, yet I didn't want him to think of me as a weakling.

"Never, you are MINE" he answered back and raised his hand in the air to hit me. I curled up into the same ball as when Seth hit me. I couldn't help it now the tears where coming out long and hard. I cant believe I thought this man was different than Seth. The tears streamed down my face as I waited for the hard blow to come.

I looked up at him tears blurring my vision. His eyes were now a gray color instead of their pitch black color. I could tell he was mind-linking someone in his pack. Now was my chance. I bolted out of his room and down two flights of stairs I heard loud footsteps behind me and I assumed they belonged to Aiden.

"Mia get back here now!" I heard him yell. Part of me wanted to go back to him, but I refused and continued winding through the halls I had came through. I had a brilliant memory, mostly because of Seth, and his "games". I cringed at the thought of him. I flung the door open and ran into the tree line. I found a large oak tree. I jumped up and grabbed a branch, swiftly climbing up it. I climbed to the tippy top. The branch wouldn't break under my light weight.
