From the ruins of England comes Virina Menso. Virina Menso is a female run country whose leader, Esperanza, is known for her obsession with beauty and perfection, which is brought on the entire country. She is a ruthless dictator, shunning men and anyone who is unattractive.
Bela Sago is the most beautiful girl in her school. Her best friend Mallory, a boy, is under severe pressure to be acceptable in Esperanza's eyes. But what he will do to get out of the spotlight will change their lives.
