Lily Taylor and the blues band she's in, Crimson Blues, are booking more gigs and gaining a fan base. The Crimson Blues are invited to play on TV. The band opens for a few more known bands and she meets a special band in particular.
This takes place in the mid 70s onwards. It involves the hard rock band AC / DC, and the lead guitarist Angus Young, who Lily finds quite interesting. Does she have time to focus on her dreams while trying to build a relationship?
AC / DC does not belong to me in any way, shape or form. All rights go to their respective owners. Lily, however, and fictional characters are claimed by me.

Kace is a feared man and who doesn't tolerate disrespect. His best friend, Blake Williams, is his right-hand man and is always there when needed. Kace doesn't listen well in school but still surprisingly gets his work done. His mother was killed by their rival gang when Kace was seven years old. After that, Kace wants revenge for what they've done. The gang is his life and no one can tell him otherwise. But what would happen if both worlds collide?Complete

Though the characters in this book bare the names of real people, a lot of the actions are made up for entertainment only. However, her nick name (Poison Ivy) and her looks are based off of the female lead guitarist of The Cramps. I am not basing Ivy Ashford off of the real Poison Ivys life or personality. I just think she is beautiful and her name is really cool so I am using her as inspiration. I respect her and her life as well. The title of this story, Hot Wire My Heart, is the title of one of my favorite songs off the Sonic Youth album "Sister". I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys alternative rock.
