       Never once has she let what other people say to influence how she thought or act but there's just so much a person can take, and Lexi Syrus has reached her breaking point. No longer does she have to deal with her mother's crude comments or her nasty glares. Even though it wasn't her idea to be shipped off to another state, she's glad it's happening. But she always wondered what happened to the loving mother, the one who kissed her 'boo boo' every time she feel off her bike; not the one who pushed her off, the one who baked her cookies just to show her how much she loved and cared about her; not the one who wouldn't give up a chance to make her cookies just to add a good amount of poison into it. But she couldn't wonder forever, right?

    Not only is she moving to another state across the country but to a pack, and not just any pack, the biggest and strongest pack in America. When starting a new chapter in her life she will face anger, distraught, and mostly love.
