Two worlds, separated by time, are both on the precipice of destruction. And two heroes will cross paths on their journey as they fight for their survival, and the survival of our species.

Meet Gaia. She's a young woman with an old soul, mixed up in a world where The Sky gods are coming to save humanity from certain destruction. The twist: She is living 12,000 years ago, right before the last polar shift. And the seemingly benevolent Sky gods are actually deceitful power hungry Aliens, and by the way...her step mom is one of them too.
Can Gaia free herself from her evil grip? And if so, will she be able to find her father who's ship was taken out by an Alien armada. Is he even still alive?

And meet young Professor Sharbad, a geologist who has stumbled upon a staggering discovery- A Polar Shift is coming! The year is 2057. And he is on a journey to find what Gaia wants him to find before it is too late: A sanctuary for a remnant of humanity before the end of the world as we know it.

With their help, they stumble upon ancient secrets that have been hidden by the powerful elite, who will stop at nothing to preserve their dominance.

Who will succeed in this epic tale of calamity and time crunching suspense? The Elite Kabal? The Academic underdog and his 12,000 year old teen counterpart? The Aliens?
Follow along as the prophecy unravels, ancient truth meets high tech science, and the world as they know it is literally turned upside down.

"We don't have a Caretaker. We have a Creationeer. And we love her." ~Humanity. We think we're from here, but are we really? What happened to us before then, and who was involved? Kit - a young B-Tier Creationeer - didn't want this job. She's not trained to be an Intelligent Species Caretaker, and yet she's forced to care for the last remnants of a damaged and traumatized humanity by an old, malicious evil. After carrying us around in a modified to-go habitat bubble for 18K years, Kit wants a vacation, but is hesitant to leave us alone on our new planet she built; Earth. She confides in Pan - an A-Tier Caretaker and Kit's best friend and roommate. She reveals the full story of how she came to be in possession of us and why she can't hand us over to a licensed Caretaker. Pan reveals the tragic truth of the first 10 years of our existence before Kit found us. The new knowledge Ignites a fire in both. So the two young Ethereals come up with another plan that involves the three grad school roommates, Pan, Sid, and Kit, taking us on a long road trip to the Andromeda galaxy for some good old fashioned revenge- justice. And also Screw Jim. (warning: Contains strong language.) Please comment and vote. :) I'd really appreciate it. ^_^ (This idea was born from the second I saw a photo of Earth from orbit showing the glow of our atmosphere and thought, "Haha! We live on a bubble planet." :) ) NOTE: They're not gods. This is not theology. They don't have all the answers, they're not all powerful, and they can't do everything. They're closest equivalent in a fandom would be like lesser cousins to the Q. In this AU, Humanity knows about Kit. They don't deify her. To them, Kit's presence is normal, tangible, and real. She's always been there.

❖ Interstellar pilot and ex-adventurer Alex Gallegos must keep their team safe on an icy moon as sentient storms threaten to repeat the tragedy that ended their last career. ❖ Everyone in the United Inhabited Solar Systems (for some reason, UIS for short) knows to stay away from Mahaha. The icy moon is notorious for failed probe landings and research missions that end in tragedy: the only people to ever venture to its surface needed rescuing after just two weeks. When a prestigious research group decides they want a turn, they ask Alex Gallegos to lead the team. Perfectly qualified and haunted by their past, Alex accepts, hoping to make up for old mistakes and get just a little further from the earth they've left behind. Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. As Mahaha moves out of range of help and the storms take on a more malicious character, Alex must face the one foe they could never have prepared for. Mahaha may or may not be alive. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2021 Shortlister. Standalone sequel (Rocks Can Dance) coming in 2023. Comments and critiques are both welcome and appreciated. Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258!
