In Breathless, Reid rescues a girl named Adeline from a rapist who kidnaps whole families and holds the for 3 months at a time before killing them off one by one. Adeline's whole family was killed in the kidnapper's sick fantasy. So Adeline searches for love and a new family. She finds just that in a special connection in Spencer. Is it desperation from losing her family? Or is Spencer her prince in disguise? Authors note : Breathless is a story completely inspired by the world around me. I get a lot of inspiration through music and some parts of the story will be completely inspired by certain songs. I will leave the song title and artist in the beginning of the chapter so you can listen to what songs inspired me to write this love story for you all.
