"Hunter." It came out as a tiny whisper. I was standing against the wall, trapped in place by Hunter's strong gaze from across the room, and it kind of scared me. He was angry. I could feel the rage emanating from his tense stature.
The next thing he did surprised me more than anything Hunter had ever done before. He walked forward and kissed me. But, as soon as it began, it was over.
