In an alternate universe where soulmates are real and love is a part of everyday life, tattoos are more than a form of expression. All tattoos are black and grey-- that is until you meet the right person. A hug, a kiss, or even holding a hand can trigger your tattoo to show its true colors. Race, sexuality, and gender mean nothing in this world-- not when love is blind and the only way to see color, is to be bold.

my second chance (Haikyuu au)
This is a haikyuu soulmate au. The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare. The stripe appears at birth. It is possible for someone to not get a stripe but some people can get a delayed soulmate and develop their stripe later but not all. If the soulmate is romantic, then the soulmate will stay true to the persons sexuality. If the soulmate gets hurt the person will be able to sense where (if its physical pain). Mental pain works slightly differently so for example, their soulmate is going through grief, they can feel ever so slightly what the soulmate is feeling so sometimes people can be found suddenly tearing up, even in the happiest of moments, of sadness. If the soulmate is uncomfortable or has been harassed, the person will get visions of it almost like looking back on a memory. when soulmates kiss their stripes will glow slightly.Complete

We're Soulmates?! (Boyxboy)[UNDER EDITING]
Please note that this isn't reflective of my current writing. I promise I've improved a lot. Soulmates work differently than most think. When a soulmate puts any kind of ink on their skin it shows up on the others skin. Same thing, same place. Raven Smith had been told by his parents that they were soulmates. They had gotten matching tattoos just to prove it. They weren't soulmates. So when they divorced, Ravens father started drinking and his mother commited suicide. Soulmates weren't real. Why should he believe it? Adrian Even's parents were soulmates. Both of his dads, they met in highschool when they noticed a tattoo on both of their hands. Now Adrian is waiting to find his one and only. What happens when Adrian notices notes from his math class on his hand...? What happens when Raven notices flowers and angels appearing on his arm?Complete

[A WATTPAD FEATURED STORY] If you touch your skin with ink, the marks you make will appear on your soulmate's skin too. Those who have this power are known as the Inked. It can be beautiful or dangerous, and for twenty-year-old Archie, it's both, in a very short space of time. As an art student at a prestigious university in London, her hobbies include procrastination, doodling and daydreaming about whoever's writing the words that appear on her skin, and what she'll say when she finally meets him. If she ever does. Now that Inking is illegal, though, it's a risk even talking to him. She's not sure if she's willing to give up everything for a boy she's never met, but she knows that if she doesn't, she'll regret it for the rest of her life - however long that may be. *** ➳ Completed ➳ Best tag rank - #1 in New Love, Future, #2 in Short Story ➳ Best genre rank - #2 in Science Fiction ➳ Featured | 18.05.18 ➳ Featured on the Wattpad Teen Fiction profile ➳ 1st Place Winner in the Stellar Awards 2018 ➳ This book has a mild content warning.
