Essence... spirit... that which gives meaning to life. It isn't the soul which is necessary for life. Even when a mortal has a soul, without essence... the mortal becomes an empty shell existing for nothing. Our father, he created us pure and perfect. He doesn't want us to soil our bodies and so he never gave us body parts for procreation. When we rebelled against him because we wanted to have relationships with our own kind, he had no choice but to allow. But with his decision, we are no longer perfect... but we are still pure. Is it because we were jealous of his other creation that we wished to love and procreate? No that's not the only reason. Perfection can be achieve through completeness. Right now we are like mannequins. I thought that this was the only problem amongst our brethren. Then, some of us requested our father about experiencing rebirth so that they can change erase the accumulated memories from specific essences collected from mortals. The Rebirth System... the main reason for the first war where we fell apart and the second reason why this story exists...Kumpleto

Phantom's Mask (Ghost the band oneshot)
Phantom was the newest quintessance ghoul. Skittish and silent, the pack wants nothing more than to bond with him, to love him. But Phantom is afraid. Afraid to let himself be loved no matter how he longs for it. They can't know what's under his mask. They'll hate him for it, reject him, and he'll be alone. After seeing how they interact, Phantom would rather be erased than sent back to the Pits where all he's known for so long was the empty void of loneliness. Preface to polyghouls. This is Phantom's first month after being summoned. whenever I get around to writing and posting them, this will be apart of a series of fics be they headcanons or little dribbles and such.Kumpleto
