The man pressed his lips to my neck, a sharp pain spreading from the place he had bitten. I started to feel drowsy, my head buzzing. Trying to stand straight, I felt myself fall into the man's arms. He pulled away from my neck, catching me in his arms.
I tried to form words, but nothing came out. "Let go," the man spoke softly, caressing my forehead. "Forget your worries."
As though my brain was obeying him, I felt myself lose consciousness. The last thing I remembered was falling and crashing into this male's arms.
