An old story revamped. (Note; Anyone in the previous version, will not be in the book, and will not be allowed entry if I decide to take OCs as to provide a fair chance of others being picked.)
Kyley is bouncing around, street to street, running away from her family, who wanted her head after she came out as bisexual. As she turns eighteen, she still has yet to find a proper job, home, or family. That is, until she stumbles across a home of friendly people, who express interest in her own hobby; writing.
She soon finds they have a vendetta against people called youtubers. Among this group however is an old childhood friend.
Lies and betrayal take place in the two households, as Kyley is once again, thrust into the middle of conflict. Will she ever get her happily ever after?
Or is she destined to live her life in silence?
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
