An Extraordinary Life by anordinarywoman

My fifty years of good or bad heartfelt life experiences written in honest, bold and direct expressions. I believe my purpose and mission are to live a passionate life and share my interesting story with the world to inspire and touch people in many ways. I took two years to write and two years to revise and edit it with the help of my third child and two professional editors. After being turned down and advised by hundred of publishers to turn my story into a novel. I kept trying but couldn't do it as it is not in me. So until last September my very special new family doctor agreed to be my first reader and gave me good comments with excitement, I decided to self publish it with the help of my youngest child. I hope to grow as a writer, and be able to share more stories with you all. During the ten years wait, I have moved out from the unsafe home and living a wonderful and happy life that I am ready to write and share my An Extraordinary Life and it continues with you all. I got up from the bed and went onto the balcony, we were on the second floor. I contemplated suicide so many times I've lost count. It must be amazing to feel nothing, to be numb. I know they'll miss me but after a while I'll be nothing but a faint memory, Andrea will move on being a mother, Alex will find someone great to love and have a few children and Chris will find someone better, right?. I stared at the sky, the sun was blazing and the sky was clear. I felt the morning breeze hit my skin sending a shiver down my spine. Why did it have to me is a question I used to ask every day until Andrea came into my life and now I just feel like giving up, I took a deep breath and gripped onto the railing.

This would be really boring. You don't need to waste time reading this. Not just boring, it might be even heartbreaking. The story was still going on, and therefore I had no idea whether it would end in a tragedy or not, but I had a feeling it would. And it did. We broke up under the striking, burning sun of 19th September, 2016. I write usually in a monotone description, therefore don't judge if you read this. My name is Rue, and I wish my life could be like the picture I put as a cover of my story, colourful, calm, and with a soulmate who keeps loving me all the way. However, things never happen as what we would like them to happen. I don't love my life, but I want to remember all that once happened. I want to look back one day, when I'm fully grown, and smile or tell my old self right now that I'm dumb. Mostly and lastly, I just want to remember him, the one I very much remember right now, but will fade in times to come. It is already fading now, and I only hope that I can write them all before they disappear from my mind, forever...

Every day is a stupid fight to not drown in that pool of shit, and for years the only thing keeping me floating were drugs and alcohol. But then, this bloody sunshine dropped into my life. After all the years of violence and roughness I grew to crave him like a secret drug. His gentle touch, his unconditional love and care. As much as my scarred soul craves it, this thing between us is crossing all the lines and breaking all the rules I knew. So I drown in ecstasy and weed even more, trying to figure myself out, so lost in my own bullshit that I didn't notice that his perfect life isn't as good as he says it is, and when I finally open my eyes, he's gone. He's fucking gone, and world is too, or at least the way we knew it.

Life, that's the funny thing about it. We always wanted things to go the way that we imagined it too, but of course plans just always have to change. What if we could've thought about how we wanted our lives to go from in the womb? Wouldn't that make everything so much better? What if we could've created our husbands/wives for ourselves, would that make us a God/Deity? Maybe, just maybe. We were all just living our truths and we needed people to come into our lives to shine the light where we always played blind to. This was about to be the reality of everything that we tried so hard to envisioned for ourselves.
