It's been 20 years since Ethan Metzger defeated his wife's family. Since then he and Lexi have raised their family in peace, love and happiness. Ethan passes away 18 years after from radiation poisoning that he sustained at a construction site before his family. Lexi follows shortly after from alcohol poisoning, unable to be without her soulmate. With her death, Charlie succeeds her as head of Stanton Industrial.

However, with the two of them dead, many board members begin plotting to restore the Stanton name to the company. The loyalty they had for Lexi does not apply to Charlie. Enter his Uncle Lucan, who begins vying to take back the company and leave the Metzger siblings broken and dispirited.

Will Charlie rise to the occasion and keep his family safe and his company secure.?
Or will he lose everything that his parents left him?

Story will be coming in a few months when I finish with Adamant and Corrupted.
You don't have to read Retaliation but it probably would help if you need to understand the background.
