For the new summer counselors, this was supposed to be the perfect getaway: no parents, no rules, just bonfires, bad decisions, and a paycheck at the end of it. It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. The funny thing about it was that I was just a few feet away from them. But how could they have known? Why would they have to be scared for their lives when they were oblivious to how fast I could end them? When all goes wrong, nothing else can go right. A last week school field trip could cost you your life. But why think that way when the trip has yet to begin. The First
I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. That's all that ever came back. There were four walls surrounding me with only one exit. I wanted to go through, so I did, in hopes of finding my way out. What I found lurking on the other side was not an exit but something much worse. I found my way back, and I spent the next month fending for myself. Food, water, a temporary shelter. After a month, someone else arrived, and this person arrived with supplies. Every month a new person was sent up. Every arrival was the same as mine. They couldn't remember anything. "I got you something." He told her pulling away, while she watched him curiously until he pulled out a pandora bag. Her eyes widened at the necklace with an infinity symbol in crested with small little diamonds. "How you even afford this kari?" She questioned, unable to take her eyes off of it. "Shit, my savings." He rubbed the back of his head that possessed his starter loc twists. "That was so nice of you, you didn't have too." She smiled softly finally looking at him, "Can you put it on me?" He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off." She promised him turning to face him. "I love you kari." "I love you too, hone. Til Infinity." --- When an unfortunate sequence of events suddenly separates two bestfriends, Dakari and Honesty, with no plausible reason, it's shakes up the world of the two inseparable individuals. With no goodbyes shared, Dakari was left feeling alone and heartbroken by the sudden disappearance of the only person outside of family that he cared for deeply. The outside world declared Dakari mad at the world, and he didn't think he could ever get over the missing void created by her absence. Camp for the Emotionally (Un)Stable || Lams
*Completed All these teenagers...they're all fucked in the brain. At least during the school year they've got supervision and a counselor on hand. Summer though- that's a different story. That's how Medowveiw Camp for Teens got started, back in the eighties. Now it's run by George Washington and his wife, Martha who is a licensed therapist. It's another summer coming up, just like the rest. After a while you can kind of link all the kids together, they're all the same anyway. Broken home, bullies, eating disorders. You name it, they've been to the camp. Some kids have been here too many times. John Laurens, for example. Seventeen and having been attending the camp since he was fourteen. He absolutely hates it, it's the same every year and offers no help whatsoever for his so called mental illness.
