you always knew what was out there always knew what your dad did even though your mom told you he was a mechanic you always knew what you really were too you were an angel well a fallen one you discovered this at 10 you can remember parts of heaven enough to know you weren't really supposed to fall either way you trained yourself to fight and use your powers even taught yourself to hunt you have no idea how you keep this from your mom and as far as the other angels are concerned your some regular 22 year old destined to live an Apple pie life and even though you were an angel you are still a Winchester and as an angel the brothers were easy to find at least till the were warded from angels at least you can track people the old fashioned way but if they were warded from angels that means they knew angels existed your either going to have to find the brothers which has proved impossible or lead them to you you choose the latter option so you call in a favor from a less than desirable

Castiel Novak comes from a religious family, only having his siblings to turn to since they've never met their mother and their father has abandoned them. Castiels eldest brother Michael (32) has become 'father' of the house, Lucifer (28) has become a drug addict only coming to the family to see if they will help him get his next fix, his sister Anna (26) acts as sort of the mother hen towards everyone, then there is Castiel (18) who happens to be homosexual, and Gabriel (16) the youngest most annoyingly adorable little brother. But his father tells him it's wrong, beats him if he even talks about it or does anything with another boy. Dean doesn't know what to think, to listen to his father or to listen to his heart. He's never had his mother by his side, she died and wasn't there to help Dean understand himself. So Dean instead listens to his father and watches out for Sammy. Her father was a regular hunter who agreed to be possessed by an angel not knowing the reasons just to keep his family safe. He was told that he should trust the lord because he had a plan. When he found out that it wasn't God's orders but an angel who wanted revenge on the other angels, he got the Grace removed when Jamie was still a fetus in order for her mother to survive giving birth knowing what the outcome was. He kept that from Jamie. Her father was unable to protect her mother for long when angels found them and killed her mother. Jamie and her brother were brought up into the hunting life.
