After thirteen year old Emey witnessed the death of Dylan Martinez, she began to notice strange things. Her dreams were too real, her reality too fake. Everything she ever knew to be true didn't make sense anymore.

Less than a month after all of this started, Emey met Ben, a lonely boy who feels a lot but shows nothing. Simultaneously suffering from mental illnesses and disabilities, Ben has a hard time opening up to others.
