Hundreds of years ago, as a defense method for the great war, the world was split into fractions. All these fractions put together make the new world called Othrythsa. Othrythsa is a world where only children live. Once they turn 18, they mysteriously disappear.
The fractions include: Friddor; of the modern people, Kimriid; of the woodland people, Winerasa; of the fire people, Isumke; of the water people, Sylridry; of the sky people, and Hei; of the rulers.
Every year, the Hei choose five people from each fraction to be sacrificed. The sacrifices must travel across the land of each fraction and find a piece of one of the ninety-nine swords used to win the great war. Once they reach the Hei fraction, the winner must sacrifice all of the other survivors, including the people from their own fraction. Once they have collected the sword and sacrificed all the others, they will join the Hei fraction, and the fraction in which the the winner came from will be rewarded. This sacrifice is called the Dagrimm ceremony.
16-year-old Thyda Saesc was born into the Friddor fraction, along with her 17-year-old brother Thryth. She lived a normal life until the Dagrimm ceremonies. Thyda, Thryth, and three others are sacrificed for the ceremony and will be forced to kill one another. But, when Thyda and the rest of her group decide to rebel and use the sword's powers against the Hei, the other sacrifices from other fractions must decide whether they will rebel with them or continue the sacrifices.

The Riorson Legacy
The Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College is the most boasted quadrant of them all. Also the most deadly. Kathrine Riorson has known for five years that this is where she'd end up, thanks to a desperate bargain made by her older brother the day their father was executed. Thrust into this new world where brutality and strength reign supreme right along side the giant fire-breathing dragons, Kitt will have to navigate through Conscription Day and Threshing. Through old memories and still-healing wounds. Through new friendships and new love. All the while an evil lurks just beneath the surface, threatening to destroy everything she has come to cherish. Kitt will be faced with demons both in the flesh and within her own mind. But Kitt is a Riorson. And she will not break easily. _____ "Anyone else feel like changing their mind?" Xaden shouts, casting his gaze out over the remaining cadets. "No? Excellent. Roughly half of you will be dead by this time next summer. A third of you again the year after that. And the same your last year." He briefly catches my gaze before moving on. "No one cares who your mommy or daddy is here." Unless your mommy or daddy sided with my father, then everyone cares. "Even King Tauri's second son died during his Threshing. So tell me again: Do you feel invincible now that you've made it into the Riders Quadrant? Untouchable? Elite?" This time no one cheers. "Because you're not untouchable or special to them." Xaden points a finger at the navy-blue dragon behind him and leans forward slightly, and says, deadly calm, "To them, you're just the prey." I swallow the lump in my throat. He's trying to scare us, they all are, so the dragons know who to pick off. But I will not let any of them win. I may not have had a choice in coming to the Riders Quadrant, but now that I'm here, the only way I'm leaving is on the back of a dragon.Complete
Daffodils and Hyacinths (Book 3 of the Forgotten Truths Series)
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!Complete
World Witches: Arctic Circle
May 9th, 2042; The day after the end of World War Three and the surrender of Germania, which was analogously named the 5th Reich, as officially designated by the Organization of Nations. On this day, crowds filled the streets of every major city worldwide, celebrating the elimination of the greatest threat to the existence of the human race. However, while parties and crowds gathered in two of the three major cities in New Canteria, namely Okha and Vladivostok, the third major city, Arnket, was undergoing decontamination due to the radiation caused by a German nuclear strike in early May as it had resulted in a large crater and an engineered radioactive toxic rain cloud. Aside from that though it seemed as if all would go swimmingly for humanity. Until an alien race named the Neuroi appeared. The date is June 9th, 2042. A full month after the surrender of Germania and a week after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommen massacre. As New Canteria was receiving flak from the Organization of Nations, a sudden disturbance was detected by a Canadian satellite as a mysterious black cloud arose from the North Pole. However the Canadian government paid no mind to it. The last mistake they would make as it was them. They struck down on humanity like a thunderbolt in their most vulnerable moments as the North Canadian forces in the area were almost destroyed from the Neuroi attack, driving thousands and eventually millions from their homes in a attempt to escape the Neuroi. However the human race wouldn't go down without a fight. Mobilizing troops freed up from the end of WW3, the ON and a new organization named NORDEN (NHDA) made a successful resistance against the Neuroi and drove them back to the North Pole. However what they found next would have news of it reverberate across the world. A wormhole to a universe still fighting the Neuroi. (Note: I do not own the World Witches series and all media relating to it.)Complete
Avarice Blacksteel Book 2
Most of us long to "Be" but when the path gets too costly, or steep, we take solace in what we "Have." Remove the trappings of what we own and then what is the sum of us? They were the survivors, abandoned by the allies who swore to protect, in the ultimate gesture of greed and betrayal. Their world plunged into annihilation and chaos. With the passage of years in this blighted landscape order was established anew. Those who had been anonymous before the war found their will to rule, those who had experienced the comforts and ease of western life, thrust into darkness and despair. This brutal conflict had awoken those long sleeping, those who had ceased to care, those of immense power, the ones entrusted with the safe keeping of the often volatile mankind. Although their parallel world too was at risk, lethargy and arrogance ruled them. Against the backdrop of this savage landscape the saga of three such tribes of survivors unfold, and the unwitting chosen among them. One tribe sought to prosper via savagery, one by organized military might, and the other who ruled with no more than fairness and love. Three tribes thrown together, competing for the limited resources to survive, in a world teetering on the brink of total decimation. Driven by human avarice.Complete
"Goodbye Curly Head"
Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)Complete
The Domestic Dragon
[COMPLETE] [[**Sequel, The Hybrid Harold, is up!**]] The first generation past the war has settled and the result is something no one from the past would recognize. In the United Human Alliance, the human run country that takes up much of the land mass that used to be the United States, magical children are taken from their parents and sent to boarding school at a young age. What provides humanity with safety from 'volatile' magical beings separates parents from their children and young adults from their culture. Alenia Paetzold is the prime example of what the UHA has created. A domestic dragon. That's why they never expect her to find her wings and burn the cage she is held in to the ground. Getting there, however, takes a prophecy, a lot of lies, and overwhelming love. Catharsis [Tom Riddle]
COMPLETED 4/4/2021 "The people who often times do terrible things, are the same ones who have had terrible things done to them." After Lord Voldemort murdered Harry Potter in the Battle of Hogwarts, the world became plagued with a darkness unlike anything it had seen before. Muggles were slaughtered in the streets, the Dark wizard's opponents were executed for show, and all those who had fought with the Order were forced into hiding. Avalon had lost it all-- her friends, her peers, her loved ones. Everything. So, when she was thrown back in time to 1943, she knew that it was up to her to change the course of time and rewrite a new history-- one in which she had to find the Horcruxes and murder Tom Riddle before he could ever become Voldemort. Tom Riddle. Avalon Hendrix. Either she was going to kill him, or he was going to kill everyone she loved. They were nothing more than two products of extreme circumstance that chose two very different paths, yet had time for their roads to converge. --Due to the amount of spoilers in the comments, I will be muting all accounts who comment with the #RR hashtag.
