Vera Sterling has always had everything planned for her and all the things not included in the plan are highly unlikely to ever happen. She was raised to portray the perfect image of being a Sterling, one of the major families of upper east side. She can't escape from the name but nor does she want to join in. So her plan for the summer is simple. Do all the necessary and then do what she wants because It's highly unlikely that she'll find anything exciting to do in her summer. It's highly unlikely that she would be pulling her nose out of her books. It's highly unlikely she'll let loose and it's definitely highly unlikely that any boy could make all of this possible.

Dante Mancini is cool and collected and takes life as it hits him. Planning anything was a myth to him and over thinking hopefully not a contagious disease. He plans to show Vera that letting loose and having fun doesn't mean becoming hazardously reckless. Dante is here to show Ms. Highly Unlikely that it's the highly unlikely that turn out to be the most likely things after all.
