After the dwarves retreived their mountain and Dale was slowly been build up, everything seems peacefull again. Until in Dale assassinations start with the victoms being left with weird marks on their body. Bard asks the dwarf king Thorin for help and he awnsers by sending some of his best warriors to solve the mistery. However Kili's curiosity gets him tangled in the problem. And so the most unlike friendship is born.
