At the young age of six, Nova Hervaux was recruited by Reapers, a band of hunter's who devote their lives to hunting and killing supernatural creatures. They promised her a chance to avenge her parents death but that promise is proving to be harder to keep as the years go by.
Now as a Scythe, her and her partner, Redson Lennox, are sent out to do those killings for them and were more than happy to do it. But there has been a change in things. Under the new leadership of Jonah, the Head Reaper, things have started to become unhinged within the Sector.
Nova finds herself caught up in the lies, dissent, and - possibly- retaliation. The lines between good and evil become blurred and Nova is left to question everything she has been taught.
Will she survive? Or will she too become unhinged within the Sector?
