Every year there is a mate gathering, in which all the eligible wolves from the strongest pack's attend in order to choose there mate. The highest ranking male gets first pick and it goes down the line....
It is Carter Bishop's first time attending and she is less than exited with the results. When the most selfish, ego obsessed, sexist wolf chooses her she refuses to be his mate and insults him in front of the entire pack...
