Percy Jackson was a hero. He had defeated the Titans, the Giants, and even Gaia herself. The second great prophecy was fulfilled, and Percy was ready to relax and live out a peaceful demigod life. That, unfortunately, was not to be. His girlfriend cheated on him, his father disowned him, and his former friends and family betrayed him. Banished to Tartarus, Percy is filled with rage and makes a vow: When he gets out, he will kill his former friends and tear Olympus down, BRICK by BRICK! Guess what? He's back, and he intends to make good on that vow.
