When I first heard One Direction's "She's Not Afraid" on their newest album, Take Me Home, I immediately got ideas to write a fanfiction inspired by the song's lyrics. This is my first real fanfic and I started it when I was 13 so you can judge it if you want. I realize now that I wasn't a very good writer back then. Trust me though, you can see as I get better/older as it goes on. I think the last 30/20 chapters are a big improvement in comparison to the beginning. I started "Innocent" as a 13 year old and finished it as a 17 year old, and you can tell. If there are any cringe mistakes feel free to point them out.
