Her step father is abusive and her mother, helpless. Just when she thinks nothing can ever get better, Ruby Lee Pharris gets accepted into a music camp that her and her band had tried out for at their school, along with one other band. Students were trying out all over the country but they were of the select few that were actually accepted. What will camp life be like for Ruby? Will she find anyone special?
