Keira, a girl growing up in the Redmont fief, has always longed to be a Ranger's Apprentice. When she overhears a rumor that the local Ranger is in need of an Apprentice, Keira tells the Baron what she wants. After a long struggle, the Ranger steps in and decides to accept her, more out of pity than want or need . Gradually, however, the pair grow closer and can tolerate each other's company. This story will take them on many adventures together, so strap in or pull up a chair, get comfortable, turn on some music and prepare to go on the journey of your life.

Almost 6 years after this Fan-Fiction began, I have decided to rewrite it, more for personal reasons than anything else. Since my life is significantly more busy than it used to be (becoming an adult will do that to you), it is going to take a very, very long time for me to re-write this. However, I am still going to try and re-write it. :)
