Pepper never liked summer since her mother passed away at sea in 2007. She has avoided the water since then, even though they live on the California coast. Her dad, sister, and friends all enjoy a day at the beach, while she enjoys a day alone. But when the new girl Ashley moves into town, there is no way out but to face her fear of the water, once an for all.  When her birthday comes, the bracelet is on and kissed by water, there is no turning back...Pepper and her friends Claire and Skyler are in for one fishy summer!
