Rick reached out his hand towards my shoulder, but I shrugged him away. "You can do this, Jade. We're your family now and we will make things normal again."
A tear streamed down my face, I whispered while looking down at my hands, "I've been trying to hold on to reality, but ever since I lost Kira I've been adrift... I've been holding on by a single thread, but now it's my chance to be with her again, Rick! I can't pass this opportunity..I'm sorry."

I always imagined the end of the world being something out of the Bible or movies. I even imagined and mentally prepared myself for a Zombie apocalypse. Which, I guess is what this was... News reports live all over the world showing cases and recordings of hospital patients or people on the streets attacking one another. Eating their flesh then attacking other people, while the ones who got bit and died came back and started attacking the ones who ran- and didn't. Even those in the military didn't stand a chance. It would have been almost horrifying if it weren't for the fact that I was so unattached to everything. Now I'm alone...
The End Has Come but I'm Still Here
They say the world is over, but I'm still here. If it's the end of days then why are people still alive, maybe the world isn't over perhaps they just have to learn how to survive in this new world. For Lexi Grimes that is a lot easier said than done. Her father was shot a week before the dead began to rise. Now Lexi has to be strong for her little brother Carl and their mother, Lori. Lexi was the one that got her brother and mom packed and ready to leave. While her mom was grabbing family albums and her brother was grabbing comic books, Lexi grabbed her Springfield Sniper, extra ammo, and her silencer. As well as any food that would last a while. She was already pulling out of the driveway to go get her father when Shane came in behind them, driving like a bat out of hell. Shane told them that Rick was dead, and he came to get them to safety, but Lexi didn't want to believe him. Shane had to physically stop Lexi from getting back in their car and driving to the hospital. The only thing that truly stopped her though was the look on her little brother's face, he needed her now more than ever. They never made it to Atlanta though and now Lexi has to navigate a world where the dead walk. Season 1 (Complete) Season 2 (In progress)Complete
