An impetuous invitation
The shifting of perceptions
The redeeming quality of Grace

Grace is a very simple creature. She loves her family. She loves her family farm. She loves her job at a prestigious consulting company. She loves cooking and her friends and her faith. One thing she has a hard time enjoying is her boss. Demanding, stubborn, and brilliant, he’s good at what he does and doesn’t mind twisting arms to get his way, and he and Grace have been at each other’s throats since she started working for him three years ago. That is, until in a spontaneous fit of misplaced compassion, Grace invites him to her family farm for a Christmas Party. Then everything changes.

Justin Piece is an island. Independent, free, needing no one. His family and friends he keeps at arm’s length, and he likes it that way. The only one with access to his life is his dependable assistant, Grace. She might be a bit unconventional, but she organizes his life just the way he likes it. Then Grace goes and invites him to her provincial family Christmas party. And from then on, something gnaws at him, filing him with unease until it nearly drives him mad. Grace is from a different world. Grace has no place in his well-ordered, autonomous, sophisticated personal life. After all, he doesn’t need anything, does he? But perhaps instead of autonomous, he is hiding from his difficult past. Perhaps instead of independent, he is only trying to protect himself. And instead of worldly, he is just embittered. And to find redemption, all he needs is a little Grace.

(The full version of this book is available on Webnovel!) "Do you see this?" I held up a card between my fingers. Jason looked at the card, then back at me, confusion clear as day in his eyes. "What is this?" "A wild card, obviously," he shrugged, looking like he was about to tell me to get to the point. All in due time. "Obviously," my smile probably looked sarcastic, like I was making fun of him. Jason had no business being fussy with the position he was in. "Take a look at your surroundings, my love. The situation you find yourself in is less than ideal, and I'm the only one who can save you," I was done being the hurt one. The one who was always left behind. "Now tell me again. What is this?" "A wild card." "This is what I am to you right now," I put the card down on the table and slid it towards him. "And whether it wins or loses the game for you is your move." ~°~°~°~°~°~ An accidental marriage. A drunken mistake, or a premeditated plan for revenge? Amaria doesn't know what to make of her new situation, and due to unforeseen circumstances, she is trapped. Forced to accept her fate until the time is right, a typically reserved executive finds herself at a crossroad between following logic, and giving in to her bleeding heart. The man she calls her husband does not make it easy for her either, but however she decides to look at it, she reaches the same conclusion. You can't change a player. As for him? Well, it's up to him to decide what he'll do with this new mess he's stuck in.

It's Christmas Eve, and I should be celebrating it by finding a "ho ho ho" to take "ho ho home." That way, I could stay warm between her thighs. Maybe even add our names to the top of Santa's Naughty List. But of course, I have a perv for a boss. He gets his jollies on his work computer. The computer contracts viruses that he doesn't know how to get rid of. He insists he needs it working before Dec.26th, and I already have Christmas Day plans. Since I'm a contractually obligated IT, and his go to debugger, guess what? I'll be spending Christmas Eve in an empty office building. At least, I thought the office would be empty. It didn't occur to me that I would have company until I saw HER car in the lot. Ah yes, Camry. The Director's young, long legged PA with a face like an angel and a body to sell your soul for. She's hot enough stop winter in its tracks. Or keep me nice and toasty while I work. Except, Camry won't be doing a damn thing for me. She's straight. She's probably sleeping with our boss. She's stuck up. She hates me. I hate her back. I just can't figure out why. Where does all her animosity for my studly charm come from? I've never done anything to her...have I? It turns out, I have. And now my boss's gorgeous assistant is owed my atonement. She wants my submission. I'm not the type of masc lesbian that spends much time on her knees. So what happens between Camry and I tonight, well... I guess we'll call it a Christmas mistress miracle. ****This is a (bi-racial) stud/fem lesbian, erotic, short story involving revenge and elements of BDSM through masculine submission. It's not pure smut but there's a lot of it. Fair warning.*****
