You might be expecting to see the usual: so and so are normal then something extraordinary happens. I'm afraid you're not going to get that here. You see normal does not exist, it is a deluded fantasy for those who wish to escape the truth.  

Katie Saldy, the protagonist of this story may think she is normal, but as we all know normal is not a reality. She may have just been walking to get a new book or toy but the fact is she was walking. We don't know why or what for but walking down that one road changed her life forever.
