"It was never a problem before" she responds.

John shakes his head. "Eliza, you know it has always been a problem"

"No, it really wasn't a problem until you just made it into one. I.. You... We had an  understanding" she explains.

"I know but I'm-" he chooses his words carefully. "We just can't okay? Besides, you're married"

She takes a step back from him. "Now you know that's not fair! You're married too!"

"Yes, but I'm not married to the President of the United States!"
