I remember... Most things, I remember. My... Name is Arya Sirafina. My family... Fled the inner system from those aliens, but something happened. That, I don't remember. I returned to Earth, and was labelled as... Awoken.
I remember fleeing from my home, and going somewhere- following the crowd, trying to flee to some other planet.
Then they caught up.
The aliens slaughtered us, Human, Awoken, and Exo-alike. One of them- Towering over the rest -targeted me specifically. Everything went dark and cold. I didn't live to see the sunrise.
"...Guardian? Eyes up, Guardian."
Destiny and all related products and characters belong to Bungie; I only own my characters created from their game. This story heavily centers around the story of Destiny, and Bungie deserves a lot of credit.

The Hidden Truth (A Destiny Fanfiction)
Ezekiel (Zero) lived alone with his sister, Maya for most of his life. Living in poverty, they did not have to opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of the Golden Age, which was graciously provided to them by the Traveler. However, after having fallen victim to the Collapse, they were both reawakened as Guardians. Forming the fireteam Hidden Power, with the help of a curious Exo Huntress and a sarcastic human Warlock, they fought to purge the Darkness in the name of the Traveler. ~~~ This was first video game fanfic. My obsession towards Destiny, and adoration towards the "Chronicles of a Warlock" series by @bad-juju inspired me to write my own fanfiction, and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I own most of the characters in this story but not the entire story (story belongs to Bungie), except a few sections of it. The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Fast forward to the beginning of our age- The City Age- With His dying breath, The Traveler created the Ghost- small machines that can revive those capable of wielding the Light- His Power- and fight the Darkness. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City. What happens when one is reborn and becomes one of the few able to wield the flame of hope as his own, to burn off the shackles of darkness that have been crushing humanity's will and hope to dust, What happens when he experiences so much tragedy, so much pain, that he delves into the shadows? What happens, when he finally snaps? And what happens to his loved ones when they are forced to put him down?
