I walk into my room finding it trashed, I only suspect my one sister Bethany doing it. "Bethany! I told you to get out of my stuff!" I scream to frighten her, I run to her room holding my diary but with missing pages out of it. I look at her with frighten in my eyes. "Oh come on Alison! All I want is to be friends with You and the rest!" She says with sadness in her voice. I shake my head and look at her, "They are my friends not yours! Find your own, And the next time you wreck my room or even touch my stuff, You'll live to regret it" I smirk then walk away. I clean my room. When I see my parents go to sleep I shut my door, I lock it so Bethany doesn't spy on me like a prev. I look out my window finding Bethany sneaking out in a black hoodie, I get confused and walk to my dresser, There I find a note. I gulp and back away from my dresser, I sit on my bed and began to think.

My husband, Mark, is a good man; he's a strong man. When I needed him to step up with our kids as I finished dental school, he became our little family's rock without ever complaining or being bitter. He owned late-night feedings and diaper changes like a champ while I slept so I could be prepared for my classes in the morning. Now, it's my turn to return the favor. He's working hard on a high-profile case that could change the trajectory of his career if he wins this case. In marriage, sometimes a little sacrifice is needed, which is why on our tenth wedding anniversary, like the past six months, I'm celebrating alone, a sacrifice I'm more than willing to give to the man who's so proudly stood by my side all these years. That is until this betrayal . . . . . . well, let's just say it was never a sacrifice I was willing to make. For Readers: *This story is a novella. My goal is to keep it UNDER fifteen chapters with each chapter no more than 2K words. *Constructive critiques are welcomed. * I do try my best to proofread, but mistakes will slip through. Feel free to point them out!
