The events in this story are set several years before the events in "The Novice" by Taran Matharu
  A war has begun. A war between the people of Hominium and the Orc tribes of the southern frontier. In a forward sentry base deep in the jungle, freshly recruited solders must adjust to life in dangerous surroundings. 
  
  No one can come to their aid. They are outnumbered. Outmatched. Overpowered. They have an almost certain chance of being slaughtered.
  Even worse, in a brutal war and in country on the verge of collapse. Orcs may not be the only enemy to fear...

Mortal Kombat Harem x Male OC Reboot (MK9-MK1) by Tyrannodeath87

This is a reboot of the first stories I've written on Wattpad. I've noticed that they weren't the best of quality so here's a proper telling of the story. The OC will be more involved and it will feel more like a harem story than before. We follow the story of Manado Chujin who as a child was locked away in the flesh pits by Shang Tsung. By the age of 12, he is found and rescued by the princess of Outworld but due to complications, has to leave the realm. He then finds himself in Earthrealm where he encounters its protector, the Thunder god known as Raiden. Raiden, seeing Manado's situation, decides to train Manado in the ways of kombat as his new champion. Then the mortal kombat tournament occurs and Manado finds himself reuniting with his rescuer and strange things start to occur, namely him finding out that a lot of the ladies find themselves attracted to him, much to his confusion. So the spiral light at the center of the universe was shattered into 9 shards and the universe has been in chaos ever since. Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. I don't want to spoil anything else, so you have to read the book to find out what happens!
