Jamie's boyfriend of three years dies and she soon discovers that he committed suicide. She is heartbroken knowing that she was unaware of Thomas' condition of depression. Jamie was getting ready to shut herself out from the rest of the world. With so many unanswered questions she has never felt so alone,when she comes across a journal. His journal. Questions are answered and she learns so many things about him. There is even a message to her. One of the people mentioned in the book is Thomas' good friend Andy Walker. Being mentioned multiple times Jamie looks out for Andy, wanting to get to know someone who was so close to Thomas, in hopes of helping her cope with the loss. When she finds him, a love story erupts. Will Jamie choose to let go of Thomas and move on?

Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier.
