You think you know everything, right? Living in your average house, going to school, and living a normal life. Those stories of demons, monsters, superheroes, and angels don't exist, right? Wrong. During the day, everything's fine; you're safe and protected. But when night falls, your safety has disappeared. Those monsters hiding under your bed come out to play. No they come out to kill. And who are they after? Me. Plus six other girls. Our job is to kill them before they kill us. Somehow, us seven angel girls gotta band together to keep your life normal. But if we fail, life as you know it will be gone.

Follow Lucia Naname's life as a half human-half angel; nephilium in other words. Lucia has a special gift that the nephilium need to stop the demmonan, an aincent evil. There are two problems: love, and Mai. Lucia, while trying to lead a normal life, falls in love with a boy. And it's forbidden.

And then there's Mai. She used to have Lucia's power. But once Lucia was born, Mai's power disappeared. And she wants it back. To get it back, Mai must kill Lucia. But if Lucia dies, the demmonan will win. Every time Lucia uses her powers, Mai is one step closer to finding-and killing- her. How will Lucia help the nephilium knowing about Mai's plans? Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."

She then tries to figure out a way to help her new vampire friends from the Vampire Hunter, known as Van Helsing. Can the vampire Hunter re kill a vampire ? Is it possible ? Zoey soon finds courage and strength to fight him. But he's got the better hand, the Vampire Hunter is stronger and skilled more then her. Will she able to fight him ? Bad things happen for a reason, but change is hard for her vampire friends. Can they change their ways of living again ?
