Life sucks, right? My mother died of Cancer and my father left soon after. Now, it's just my brother, Mark, and I. Were living in a horrid, run down house. Well, more of a shack than a house. One room, one bathroom, just tiny. This is the life right?
Kira has been through tramatic losses and losing her best friend, Liam, to his depressive, suicidal thoughts. Now, she must go through losing her brother. Her heart is in pieces as she moves to her Grandmother's to try and start over. Meeting challenges alone and head-on, she has to survive just another year then she's off to college. Yet, she's not alone. There's someone watching and they can help.
With unlikely friends and even a secret admirer, she might just survive the year.
